Your Role: Civil Engineering Intern
As a valuable member of our engineering team, this internship offers an opportunity to gain experience from our seasoned Professional Engineers.
As an intern at HLA, here is what you can look forward to:
Dynamic Learning Environment: Work alongside a diverse team of interns and experienced engineers. Engage daily with colleagues, clients, and contractors to gain a holistic understanding of the field.
Hands-On Project Participation: Assist in using AutoCAD Civil 3D for designing and modeling various projects. Support in preparing engineering reports and documents.
Community Involvement: Learn about federal and state funding programs, contributing to proposals that bring meaningful changes to our communities.
Regulatory Exposure: Gain experience in preparing environmental review documents and understanding the process of securing regulatory approvals.
Technical Development: Assist in designing elements of water, sewer, and stormwater systems, gaining insights into hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
