The Charlie Taxiway Project included the rehabilitation of approximately 3,000 linear feet of existing taxiway and the construction of approximately 200 linear feet of new stub taxiway. Existing asphalt was planed, and new paving fabric and asphalt pavement was installed. This project also included the installation of retro-reflective markers, pavement markings, taxiway sign modifications and pipe casings beneath the Taxiway to accommodate future utility installations.
HLA provided initial planning and cost estimating, design engineering, preparation of construction plans and specifications, and construction observation and administration, all in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration requirements.
