Funding for this project was made available by the Washington State Department of Commerce - Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery funds through the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
The project extended sanitary sewer into the City of Selah’s Urban Growth Area for future use and development. Improvements included 4,600 linear feet of sewer main collection in Crusher Canyon Road from Lookout Point Road to the west City limits, including 17 manholes and asphalt overlay.
HLA provided engineering design and final plans, specifications, cost estimate, environmental and cultural resource coordination, bidding support, construction observation, submittal review, reimbursement management for the ARPA funding, testing evaluation, and construction administration.
