To improve accuracy and tracking of water flow rates at the City’s water filtration plant, six filter meters and one backwash meter were replaced with new electromagnetic meters. Improvements also included the addition of pulse output wiring to two existing mag meters and all new meters to improve tracking of flow volumes in the City’s SCADA system.
HLA provided design, plans, specifications, cost estimate, bidding services, and contract preparation, as well as construction services, including inspection and observation, bond and insurance review, construction meetings, submittal review, and other support tasks.
Electrical design, construction administration, programming, and startup assistance was provided by HLA’s electrical subconsultant, Connetix Engineering, Inc.
